Our Beginning
About Pam & Ice Tubes
The simple wish of a mother to keep her child's water bottle
cold during his soccer game was the spark that started the fire for Pam
Moore. The frustration of trying to force ice cubes into that narrow
water bottle led Pam to seek a better way to cool things down. Her
determination and creative mind drove her to develop an ice tray that
forms water into narrow tubes of ice. These tubes, "Ice Tubes" fit
perfectly through the opening of the water bottles that regular ice
cubes would not. Pam's children's drinks were now cold, but her company
Ice Tubes, Inc., and her entrepreneurial journey was just warming up.
Ice Tubes Incorporated in 1998 but did not ship the first ice tube tray
until May of 1999. Our ice trays form ice into cylindrical tube shapes
that easily slide into bottled beverages such as bottled water, bottled
pop and sports bottles.
Our offices are located in Mogadore, Ohio and our products are
manufactured and assembled locally. We currently sell our ice trays in
national retail stores across the country. To date, we have sold over 5
million trays. Ice Tubes, Inc. has been embraced as a wonderful small
business story, and Pam has been recognized by a number of small
business organizations for her perseverance, hard work and vision.
Pam has been profiled in the Washington Post, New York Times, L.A.
Times, Dallas Morning News, Crain's Business, Cleveland Plain Dealer,
Akron Beacon Journal, Self Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Working Mother
Magazine, Smart Business Ohio and other prominent newspapers and
